If you subscribe Service Plan C, D and E, that means you will get your own domain. So you can have email alias and/or POP email in the form of any_one@your_domain.com

Email Alias

Email alias is not a real email account. It is an "instant-direct" email service. For example, if info@your_domain.com is a email alias of you@your_ISP.com. Then when any emails are sent to info@your_domain.com, these mails would immediately be directed to you@your_ISP.com.

 

POP3 Email account

A POP Email account is the traditional Email account. You will need your mail server host name ,i.e. pop.your_domain.com, and username and password in order to receive your emails.

IMAP Email account

Internet Message Access Protocol or IMAP is a method of accessing electronic mail that is kept on a remote mail server. It permits a client email program to access remote message folders as if they were local. For example, email stored on an IMAP server can be manipulated from a desktop computer at home, a workstation at the office, or a notebook computer while traveling, all without the need to transfer messages or files back and forth between these computers.
IMAP's ability to access messages (both new and saved) from more than one computer can be extremely important as reliance on electronic messaging and use of multiple computers increase (which is exactly what telecommuters need). However, if the mail is only accessed from one server then Post Office Protocol (POP) works best since it was designed to support "off-line" message access, where messages are downloaded to the local computer and then deleted from the Server.

Also more advanced feature like Email Auto Responder, Email-On-Demand, Anti-Spammers(reject emails from Bulk Email sender) can be setup.

You can have your own cgi-bin directory to put your CGI scripts written by Perl, C, C++. Also, PHP3, Java applets, Javascript, Active X, Dynamic HTML, etc are all supported by HKIS. Further more, password protected directory can be setup.
