This tour let you know more how to provide Web Site Hosting with
a HKIS Virtual Server.IntroductionBefore or after you order your first HKIS Virtual Server, you should have found some parties (companies, organizations or even persons) which are interested in setting up a Web Site with their own domain names. A HKIS Virtual Server is a specially designed unix environment which let you do any server-like activities (e.g. host unlimited domain names, install any customer software or programs, etc.) Most Virtual Server System Administration Tasks should be done via a Telnet session. To use Telnet on a windows 95/98, simply click "Start", "Run" and then type "telnet". Then, to connect to your Virtual Server, you just need to select "Connect", "Remote System" and then enter the main domain name of your Virtual Server. (you must choose one domain name as the main domain name of your Virtual Server) File Transfer (e.g. upload web sites contents) can be done traditionally by FTP or MS FrontPage 98/2000 or by using our web-based admin tools - Virtual Server Manager.
