HKIS/Service/Virtual DNS Nameserver

"Where do you want to point your domain to today?"

A DNS name server’s only function is to maintain a table of domain names and matching IP addresses, called a DNS Table. Each domain name on the Internet has specific DNS servers that are responsible for keeping their information in their table, and that DNS server is then responsible for broadcasting that information across the Internet. In simple terms, DNS nameservers are used to "translate" between a domain name and an IP address.

During registration for a domain name, you need 2 DNS nameservers which translate your domain and IP address. Normally, HKIS will provide the DNS nameservers which are HK.HKIS.COM, INTERNATIONAL.HKIS.COM, NS1.HKIS.COM, NS2.HKIS.COM.

However, many of our resellers and agents had asked for how to hide NS1.HKIS.COM and NS2.HKIS.COM when doing a "whois" query in the InterNIC database or a "nslookup" query in the HKNIC database. Therefore, upon numerous request, we lead the virtual server technology once again by the emerge of HKIS Virtual DNS Nameserver.

You requested and we promised, Virtual DNS Nameservers is now here!

With HKIS Virtual DNS Nameserver, you can, at any time, :
have NS1.YOUR_DOMAIN.COM and NS2.YOUR_DOMAIN.COM as your and your clients' nameservers (hide HKIS totally)
(NS1.YOUR_DOMAIN.COM.HK and NS2.YOUR_DOMAIN.COM.HK if you have HK domain name)
point up to 100 domain names to any IP address as you like
add/remove/edit the domain record in the Virtual DNS Nameserver
all additions, changes, removals are at real-time as you add/edit/remove
add sub-domain of any domain on your virtual servers, e.g. department1.your_domain.com, 2ndsite.any-domain.com
